These will be full time residential positions. Working 7/7 Roster Job Description Stawell Gold Mine is an underground gold mine located in Stawell; 236 km north-west of Melbourne. This historic region is known for its rich heritage in the exploration, discovery and production of gold. We currently have an opening for Diesel Fitters. These residential positions will be permanent full-time engagements. Reporting to the Diesel Maintenance Supervisor, you will: Health, safety & environment Perform routine maintenance on a range of heavy diesel equipment. Diagnosis and repair of breakdowns (includes underground) Maintain workshop and tools/equipment to the standards required. Be a leader in health, safety, and environmental management. Complete required documentation Be paid as per the Enterprise Agreement Work 12 hour shifts on a 7 day on, 7 day off roster Desired Skills and Experience Mining maintenance experience (including underground), preferred. Trade qualification, heavy vehicle preferred, but not essential. Proven ability to work as part of a dynamic team and as an individual. A strong commitment to workplace safety Have good computer literacy.
