Your new role As an Incident Response Specialist, you will be expected to investigate, analyse, and respond to cyber incidents within the network environment of their company. You will also be responsible for the following:
Identify, respond, and mitigate sophisticated threats to computer networks
Perform incident response activities, including in-depth investigation (forensic, malware analyses, etc.) to examine potential breaches and provide remediation advice
Carry out the actions required for the immediate, short-term quick resolution of incidents to minimize production loss and risk exposure
Participate actively in delivering training initiatives and promoting a culture of knowledge exchange within the Incident Response (IR) team.
Guide and support junior staffs.
What you'll need to succeed
Practical experience in information security, especially in an Information operation / incident role
Hands-on troubleshooting, analysis, and technical expertise to address incidents and service requests; previous experience in troubleshooting daily operational processes such as security monitoring, data correlation, security operations, etc.
Demonstrated experience performing analysis of security events and incidents, to identify the root cause and provide resolution
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; and experience interacting with multiple stakeholders.
