Visit www.nyrstar.com Overview of the role Working with the Business Systems team, this role is responsible in providing support for the Network systems and assists the Network and Cyber Security Lead in undertaking cyber security risk assessments, investigations on security breaches and incidents and support business as a subject management expert and project coordinator in the delivery of Network and Security projects. Based in Port Pirie, South Australia, this is a full-time role delivering capability to the business. Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Providing technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of technical issues related to goods and services of the role using approved processes and within agreed timeframes that reflect business impact and importance Testing, implementing, monitoring and tuning related software/hardware to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues Manage and Analyse network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to related services and equipment as appropriate Support the business as an SME and Project coordinator in the development, planning and implementation of small and medium sized regional and group projects Procurement, receipting and reporting of Network and Cyber activities using SAP and associated financial systems Qualifications/Experience & Abilities: Essential: A relevant qualification and at least 3 years' experience in a Networking, Cyber Security, Support or Project Delivery roles Cisco networking qualifications and experience Industry recognised cyber security qualifications HP Server and related Storage qualifications and experience ITIL Certification Relevant Experience in Microsoft Office Client and Server Products including operating systems Desirable: Microsoft Qualifications SAN Qualification Sound negotiation and communication skills Basic vendor management skills What does working for Nyrstar mean?
