Our host employer Moorabool Shire Council are seeking a savvy and technologically adept IT Technician Trainee to join their tight knit team based in Ballan and Darley. THE ROLE:
Assist with resolving service requests, incidents and problems raised by customers of the ICT via the Helpdesk process.
Assist with the deployment of software via Councils Software Deployment Platform to new users or PCs or via manual processes if required.
Assist with providing support for corporate applications and operating systems.
Assist with providing support for ICT hardware including desktop and laptop PC's, printers, copiers, mobile devices, digital cameras and assist when upgraded equipment is needed to be setup
Assist with roll-out of devices, including asset registration, configuration and physical placement to all Council locations.
Perform administration and reporting tasks of Council's Software and Patching Platform.
Perform User administration tasks for ICT systems such as set up new staff and remove departed staff from systems.
Assist with maintaining and updating of Active Directory Users, Computer and Groups.
Creation of Purchase Orders ensuring procurement process is followed.

Ability to pass a National Police Check.
