About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced and qualified Vehicle Spray Painters & Panel Beaters to join either AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs team to undertake quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition. This is a full-time position located in all areas of ACT.
Vehicle Spray Painters
Key Responsibilities:
-Colour mix and match vehicle after vehicle has been prepared and is scheduled for painting
-Build and maintain the colour library
-Prep, prime and paint the vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following the paint supplier’s process
-Buff and Denib vehicle
-Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
-Notate any extra paint work required that is not quoted.
-Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager
-Clean work bay and workshop areas
-Coach apprentices when required
About You:
-Trade-qualified Spray Painter
-Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter
-Strong commitment to work in a safe manner
-Excellent communication skills
-High attention to detail
-Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
-Ability to meet strict deadlines
-Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
-Own tools to fulfil the role
Panel Beaters
Key Responsibilities:
-Check that received parts are correct and for defects.
-Disassemble the vehicle as per the Job Sheet.
-Repair the vehicle as per the Repair Method, OEM standards and in accordance with the Estimate and Job Sheet
-Reassemble vehicle.
-Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
-Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean and in a workable condition.
-Adhere to our OH&S policy including PPE.
About You:
-Trade qualified Panel Beater
-Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Panel Beater
-Strong commitment to work in a safe manner
-Excellent communication skills
-High attention to detail
-Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
-Ability to meet strict deadlines
-Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
-Own tools to fulfil the role
