Arisit Pty Ltd are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Accountant to join our team.
Your primary duties and responsibilities will involve:
• Preparation of financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation and providing monthly reports to management
• as required
• Formulation of budgetary planning and accounting policies based on assessment of income and expenses
• Maintain general ledgers, prepare monthly bank reconciliations and prepayment adjustments.
• Preparation of GST and FBT returns for external reporting purposes
• Follow up and maintain debtors report including accounts receivable daily payment reconciliations, closing end of month balances and resolving billing issues
• Maintain accuracy and veracity of financial statements to ensure compliance with Australian laws and regulations
• Integration and improvement of Business Central system with Shopify, Pro-forma system and other integrations
• Preparation of special purpose financial reports via assessment of account information and trends
• Provision of accurate financial information and preparation of audit schedules to assist auditors
• Preparation of fortnightly payroll using internal systems, monthly payroll tax lodgements and preparation of payroll tax returns
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Support the finance team as and when required

Salary: Minimum AUS$71K per year plus superannuation
Job Type: Full time, Permanent, 40 hours per week
Work Eligibility: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident)
