Duties: Some of the duties you will be required to perform include
Some of the duties you will be required to perform include:
• Delivery of the curriculum that caters for students with varying learning styles and ensures best practice in pedagogy
• Keep up-to-date with modern teaching practices
• Either have knowledge of, or be prepared to learn the explicit instruction model
• Use a variety of assessment tasks for students to experience success and accurately assess levels of student achievement
• Attend relevant professional development sessions
• Maintain records of classroom attendance, write reports in accordance with School policy, attend staff and other administrative meetings, attend parent/teacher interviews
• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
