EACH is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our child-focused, multi-disciplinary team as part of the School Readiness Funding initiative. This initiative aims to provide kindergartens with quality programs and supports to enhance children’s early learning experiences.
This exciting new role will involve working collaboratively with educators and families in kindergarten communities to enhance their capacity to support children's learning in communication, wellbeing, and access and inclusion.
As an Occupational Therapist in our team, you will be responsible for building the capability of kindergarten educators and families through coaching, modelling, group training, and case consultation support, using evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with kindergartens and Department of Education and Training area staff across Maroondah, Knox, and Yarra Ranges municipalities to deliver high-quality direct support that promotes self-regulation, positive and pro-social behaviours, fine and gross motor skills, and social and emotional wellbeing.
