About the Role:
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Officer is to develop a range of visual assets and presentation materials to aid CDC in both internal and external communication. This position operates within the External Affairs function, translating design briefs from business stakeholders into impactful and visually compelling products for communication and marketing objectives. Additionally, the role may occasionally involve providing support for event management and coordinating projects related to communication and marketing activities within the function.
Duties include:
- Interpret design briefs and contribute to concept development for professional graphic design and visual communication products aligned with business requirements.
- Develop assets and promotional materials for diverse communication, marketing, and corporate initiatives.
- Create and present designs for print production utilizing Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist the External Affairs function in additional tasks, such as event management, records management, and project management of communications and marketing activities.
- Proactively provide communication assistance to CDC teams, offer guidance and support to the External Affairs Advisor, embrace and exemplify CDC's DNA, and undertake other directed duties as needed from time to time.
About You:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with qualifications or equivalent working experience within the marketing/graphic design/visual communications space. You should have exposure to working with Adobe Creative Suite, Power Point and other Microsoft 365 products for presentational use. You will have a natural creative flair and eye for detail with a strong focus of deliverables.
