The Opportunity

We’re looking for Legal Content Writers to join us on a short term basis (up to eight weeks, with the potential for extension) to help produce additional content for our website. This opportunity is ideal for law students seeking casual work (up to three days per week) on a remote basis. The hourly rate including casual leave loading will be approximately $29.

As a Legal Content Writer, you will play a key role in contributing to LegalVision's content marketing strategy – a primary source of leads and website traffic. This is a critical aspect of our business, and an exciting opportunity for the successful candidates.

You will learn and grow with a team that has developed an award-winning business and marketing strategy. We’ve been recognised for marketing, innovation, diversity, client service and more!

Your Responsibilities

  • Researching and writing articles for startups and small to medium-sized businesses in the Australia.
  • Once you are trained, you will be required to write three articles a day (around 800 words each).
  • Writing practical content in plain English will help business owners comply with the law and manage their obligations.
  • Making complex legal concepts seem simple while contributing content to our database of over 9,000 articles.
  • Building relationships with content collaborators.
  • Understanding industry trends and competitor tactics to help optimise marketing spend.

The Ideal Applicant

  • A law degree (or one in progress!) and an understanding of Australian commercial law.
  • Outstanding written communication skills.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Organised and deadline focused.
  • Experience in writing for publications or blogs.
  • Experience with Google Docs, WordPress, Google Analytics or SEO.
