The Centre
This lovely 45 place service in Paddington is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to be the Preschool Room Leader and Educational Leader at their service to join and help lead their passionate team of educators. This is a well-established service with strong ties to the local community and has a welcoming and supportive team of educators and management who view themselves as a family.
As an ECT/Room Leader and Educational Leader, your role is to inspire, lead and mentor others whilst creating and maintaining a positive learning environment for children aged 0-5 years, connecting with their families and the local community . The centre believes in following a variety of philosophies and theories to ensure each child receives quality educational care based on their individual needs whilst adhering to the Early Years Framework.
The centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 6:00pm.
The Role
As Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader of the service some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the centre curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
Support educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs and practices.
Lead the development and implementation of an effective educational program in the service and support educators to implement programs
Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
Establish, nurture and foster strong relationships with children to achieve quality learning and development outcomes
Mentoring and guiding the service philosophy
Be enthusiastic, positive, productive and conduct oneself in a professional manner

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (equivalent or higher) qualification OR ACECQA-approved
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
A current Working with Children's Check
