The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent organisational skills and a proven track record in inventory control.Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and production schedules.- Order Processing: Generating purchase orders and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.- Quality Control: Conducting regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to address inventory inaccuracies.- Reporting: Generating and analysing reports on inventory turnover, stock levels and other key performance indicators to inform decision-making.- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency in inventory management.- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics and finance, to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials throughout the supply chain.
