Contract role - federal government agency - Cyber Security IRAP Assessor Your new company This government agency is looking for a Cyber Security Assessor to join their team in a contract role finishing on 30 th June 2024, but with room for extension. You will have the opportunity of working at a federal government agency located in Sydney CBD. Your new role As a Cyber Security IRAP Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting Cyber Security Assessments and completing IRAPs for all new ICT Systems as well as existing production systems to help from a holistic view of Cyber Risk within the agency's Hybrid Environment. You will also provide ICT Security advice with a focus on Risk, Compliance, Assurance, and Reporting. Your role will involve evaluating and identifying areas of risk, and analyzing the need for, and suitability of security controls. What you'll need to succeed
At least three years of experience in ICT with proven experience in Information Security or Risk Assessments.
You must be a certified IRAP Assessor with the ASD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Hold a current Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance
You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible.
