My Australia Direct Pty Ltd is currently accepting applications for the position of “Equities Advisor/Dealer” with ASR Wealth (ATLANTIC PACIFIC SECURITIES PTY LTD) in Sydney, NSW.
This will be a full time position, reporting to Head of Desk, with annual remuneration of between $70,000 to $80,000 (negotiable) + superannuation on offer.
Our client's aim is to build an integrated and diversified financial services business by acquiring businesses within this sector as opportunities arise.
Employee Responsibilities:
• Providing general advice to clients regarding their holdings and executing necessary trades
• Facilitating and providing overviews of trades placed for clients – recording buy / sell orders and noting costs of transactions
• Analysing Financial markets, company and research reports
• Analysing research and conducting portfolio reviews on demand to advise on altering investment strategies
• Exceptional customer acquisition; on-boarding 100+ new members while building a book in funds under management for advisory.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients as well as facilitating for smooth operations internally, between different departments
• Completion of RG146 Generic Knowledge / RG146 Securities and Managed Investments - General Advice
Successful Applicants must have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Business
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant employment experience
• Previous Exposure within Financial Markets
• Experience of Managing a Book of Clients
• Solid understanding of Equity markets
• Able to effectively manage clients
• Ability to work under high pressure / KPI’s
• Excellent verbal communication
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
