We are looking for experienced full time professional chef to join our restaurant Tukk and Co at 720 Bourke Street Docklands Vic 3008.
Roles and Responsibilities included,
• Design new menus with the restaurant manager, manage all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking and clean up
• Manage, motivate, lead and develop the kitchen team
• Delegate the tasks to the kitchen staff and inform the wait staff on Daily specials and Chef’s specials.
• Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with company standards
• Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers
• Manage food costs and supplier management to budget
• Manage staff costs to budget
• Manage and maintain ordering of stock and produce
• Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen
• Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the company
Job Requirements and necessary experience
• Qualified Chef or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience within a fast-paced environment
• Australian qualification of Certificates III and IV in Commercial Cookery or positive Trade Skill Assessment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with restaurant staff and management
• Detailed knowledge of health and safety standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Available Mondays to Fridays 38 hours per week as per restaurant’s requirement
• Full Australian working rights
We are offering attractive Annual Salary $72,000 plus Super and on-going performance-based Incentives and bonus
