Duties and Responsibilities
- Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position.
- Lead the Broome/IOT engineering Team.
- Reinforce a positive safety-first culture.
- Ensuring compliance of Broome Team in line with MOE/Part 145 MOS.
- Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer when required.
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance, documentation and certification is carried out and completed in line with the MOE, procedures manuals and responsible CAMO requirements.
- Plan, distribute and oversee scheduled maintenance for Broome/IOT
- Oversee GSE Compliance inspections and repairs.
- Supervise maintenance personnel and support apprentices when required.
- Ensure Complex Maintenance Tasks are certified by an authorised Certifying Employee
- Maintenance and associated maintenance records are completed & certified correctly by authorised Certifying Employee prior to CRS issue.
- Responsible for the general condition, upkeep of the hangar and workshop
- Compliance to the FRMS and WHSMSM policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties as directed by the HoM
Reporting Relationship
- The position reports directly to the Head of Maintenance.
