As the Electrical Coordinator: Longwall, you will be responsible for the coordination of all electrical maintenance activities and resources within the Longwall Move & Installs team at Aquila Mine. You will work with our industry-leading remotely operated autonomous longwall technology, where our Aquila Mine won the Outstanding Mine Performance category at the 2023 Australian Mining Prospect Awards.

This role will see you accountable for:

  • Act as the on-shift Electrical Coordinator for the implementation of day-to-day electrical works within Longwall Installations
  • Participate and run LFIs and coach the Coal Mine Workers within the electrical scope of works
  • Lead a systematic approach in the identification and delivery of sustainable electrical maintenance processes and methods
  • Build, lead and develop the electrical maintenance crews to deliver the annual plan with optimal performance
  • Plan for upcoming Longwall Moves by ordering kits in advance as required, and provide a high level and detailed planning and risk management practice
  • Analyse performance data to identify and prioritise areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all people, safety, technical, operating and business systems, behaviours and culture in your area

Collaborate and build strong relationships across a range of both internal and external stakeholders
