Team Leader- Preclinical Experience

We are currently recruiting for a passionate Team Leader- Preclinical Experience that will ensure the successful planning and delivery of learning activities and provide specialised technical support to Medicine, Dentistry and Paramedicine support across the Griffith Health Group.

Working under broad direction of the Senior Technical Manager and the Technical Manager LPE, this role will lead the pre-clinical specialist technical team in a client-focused and efficient way.

As a Team Leader Preclinical Experience, you will play a pivotal role:

  • Leading a multi-disciplinary technical team prioritising effective, consistent, and efficient support of preclinical experience teaching and learning needs across the disciplines of Medicine, Dentistry, Paramedicine and other disciplines associated with the Health Group.
  • Understand and prioritise client needs, build a high performing team and functional partnerships to oversee and coordinate the daily operation of technical support services. Manage teaching pre-clinical facilities (Medicine, Paramedicine, Dentistry (Pros, Sim) and Maintenance), workshops and ancillary facilities ensuring safe and effective space utilization.

The Team Leader Preclinical Experience will oversee the implementation of outsourcing strategy from a technical support perspective.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of systems to support organisational goals, plans, objectives, and strategies.

You will also have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualifications majoring in Health or Health Science with at least four years’ relevant work experience including people management experience or equivalent combination of relevant work experience in pre-clinical areas such as medicine, paramedicine and/or dentistry.
  • Possess a self-starter mentality and have a very high level of professional competence, thrive working autonomously, delivering operational milestones and targets, being self-motivated to drive success.
  • Value teamwork and have demonstrated success effectively leading and coaching multidisciplinary teams.
  • Have extensive experience and demonstrated excellence in modelling, leading and promote adherence to the principles of respect, high performance, inclusion, collaboration, and integrity in the work environment.

What we can offer
This is a continuing, full time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $93,854 - $101,680 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $109,809 - $118,965 per annum.
