The Purpose:
As a Product Manager in our Payments and Schemes team, you will be responsible for the strategy, development, management and optimisation of the PayID portfolio of Business Payments product currently in market.
As the business owner for the products/services within your portfolio you are responsible for developing action plans and identifying key initiatives to drive adoption and take up of the products/services and identifying opportunities for optimising performance and product enhancements.
This is what you’d be required to do:
- Work closely with the wider Business Payments team to develop a longer-term product roadmap incorporating future product development and enhancements.
- Be accountable for execution of product strategies, action plans and product key performance metrics.
- Support the development of go to market strategies for the Business Payments product portfolio.
- Collaborate with AP+ members to drive adoption and usage of Business Payment products and in-market product optimisation including identification of best practices.
- Collaborate with wider AP+ organisation to explore and execute on opportunities to integrate AP+ capabilities across the Business Payments product portfolio.
- Input to pricing strategy/ies for the Business Payments product portfolio.
We’d love to hear from you if you have;
- Robust experience in product management/product strategy/ stakeholder management roles within the payments industry.
- Specific payments knowledge and experience including technical understanding, and ideally encompassing corporate and B2B payments.
- Experience analysing product/marketing data and customer insights.
- Demonstrated experience analysing and interpreting product, market and financial information.
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills.
- Ability to translate strategy into operational and tactical activities, assess progress and adapts tactics and plans accordingly.
- Proactively solves problems to effect change, makes informed decisions and takes responsibility.
- Strong business acumen – commercial, pricing, competitor analysis.
