Position Overview:
In this role you will take responsibility for leading and managing our infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget. You'll provide effective whole of life planning and management of our diverse infrastructure assets to deliver on Aviagen's approved strategic plans.
In addition, you will establish consistent project principles, methodologies and frameworks for the organisation with the opportunity to transform and add value to the long-term viability and growth of our infrastructure through asset management, refurbishment, new build or expansion projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Contribute to long-term planning and decision-making for infrastructure development and capital projects.
Conduct thorough feasibility studies and risk assessments, grounded in evidence-based data.
Supervise construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution.
Develop and maintain strategic infrastructure programs and quality asset management plans.
Manage the financial aspects of the Infrastructure & Project department, including forecasts, budgets, and expenditure.
We are seeking someone with:
A Tertiary degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or Project Management.
Proven experience designing and embedding project governance and delivery frameworks.
A strong background in leading a team through complex project/program management.
