The Opportunity As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and control solutions for various projects BESS projects. This includes designing electrical schematics, programming, and integrating control systems, and providing technical support to project teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, and control systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to work in a hyper-growth environment and must be comfortable with high pace. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in power systems engineering within power generation. Design and develop electrical systems and control solutions for various projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications. Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using relevant software tools. Program and integrate PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other control components, ensuring seamless system functionality and performance. Collaborate with project teams, providing technical expertise and support throughout the project life cycle. Perform electrical and control system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs as needed. Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans for electrical and control systems, ensuring system performance meets project requirements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement. About You 7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering preferably in power/renewable energy Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering Preferably RPEQ Previous electrical design experience Previous experience programming and integrating PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s and other control components Previous experience testing and commissioning systems Good communication & collaboration skills Strong problem solving and organisational skills with strong attention to detail How to Apply?
