As a Poly Welder, you will be responsible for welding poly-ethylene fittings and other components onto poly-ethylene products such as liquid storage tanks, to complete the overall product for delivery to the client. Responsibilities include: Weld poly-ethylene fittings or other components into poly-ethylene products in accordance with drawings supplied. Construct poly-ethylene products from varying pipe and HDPE sheets in accordance with drawings supplied. Monitor stocks of components and request purchase of items required Initiate action to prevent occurrence of deficiencies in work performed in the factory Identify and record deficiencies occurring in the factory Initiate or recommend solutions to deficiencies through authorised methods Observe and maintain a high level of safety at all time Required Skills / Experience / Qualifications Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, however full training will be provided Mechanical aptitude to understand and interpret drawings Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet commitments under pressure Highly organised and motivated For candidates without direct experience, but that can demonstrate the right aptitudes, we will provide a traineeship in Poly Welding. The role will be based in Dalwallinu (6609) and we will offer the option to relocate or work on a DIDO basis.
