We are looking for Tradesd Assistants to assist our qualified fitters to maintain our factory and assist in repairs for any breakdowns as required. This position is full time permanent working 38hours a week but they also do regular weekend work as there is a preventative defect program that services the plant to ensure it runs smoothly.

Self-motivated, keen to learn and results driven;
Assist with fault finding on Medium/strong hydraulics
Assist with fault finding on Medium/strong Pneumatics (fault finding)
Assist trades with Welding using TIG, MIG and ARC welds
Assist with fault finding on pumps and help overhaul defects
Assist tradesmen to Test and identify defective or worn mechanical components or equipment
Assist fitters to complete precision measuring using instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit
Assist with Fault finding on packaging machines
General labouring
Hourly Rate : $38.00 hourly Salary : $75,088 annualy
Australian Citizen / Permanent Residency / Full Working Rights in Australia are essential
Pass a Pre-employment medical check including drug alcohol test
Physical Stamina, Attention to detail, Strong Work Ethic and willing to work as part of a diverse team
Willingness to work in hot and cold environments in a factory setting
Be able to provide two reference checks
Availability across day and afternoon shift and the flexibility to work weekends as required
Early morning and Mid-afternoon starts depending on your assigned role and previous experience
Q-Fever vaccinated or willing to receive the vaccination
