A unique opportunity exists to join TasWater reporting to the newly appointed General Manager Service Delivery. The Regional Manager, Service Delivery South will oversee the operation and optimisation of water and wastewater operations. Overseeing a large workforce of 150 employees located in the Southern Region, you will ensure Taswater continues to provide outstanding services to customers. Concurrently you will identify opportunities to drive improvements that result in optimised services while ensuring the safety of the TasWater teams and the reliability of services are maintained. You will deliver continuous improvement initiatives within production and treatment operations, while balancing the needs of stakeholders including customers and employees with financial, safety, risk and compliance requirements. To be successful in this role, you will bring experience working with field based workforces in the utilities, resources or similar operational environments. You will bring the ability to build capability, enjoying the rewards of developing a team from a cultural and technical perspective, while bringing an organisational excellence mindset to the team. You are known for your contemporary and strategic approach and ability to drive innovative efficiencies including better systems, process and utilisation of technology. You are adept at establishing credible and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and you are highly regarded for your focus on people, safety, customer and performance.
