RETAIL BUYER (SUPERMARKET)
Salary: $70,000 excluding Superannuation
Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the selection of Merchandise for resale within a Independent Supermarket Environment
• Work within Budget
• Pick Products based on Trends in demand among our customers
• Help build our Brand
• Knowledge on Products, our marketplace & our Customers Needs
• Conduct Market Auditing
• Help Create Competitive Environment,
• Knowledge of pricing in our retail area
• Preferred Packaging Configurations
• Retailer Distribution Agreements
• Retailer Feedback and Insights
• Department’s objections, among other things.
• Preparing periodical reports for reporting purposes.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Constantly tracking and evaluating the profit-loss account.
• Development of systems and procedures
Experience Needed
• Skills in working as a Retail Buyer within a Supermarket with 5+ Years Experience
