Join a small Agency on a long-term contract | Hybrid working | Centrally located office Your new company As an experienced UX/UI Designer, you will join a small Agency that ensures that documentary resources of national significance relating to Australia and the Australian people, are collected, preserved and made accessible. As a part of this Agency, you will help with the learning, creative and intellectual endeavours, and contribute to the continuing vitality of Australia's diverse culture and heritage. Your new role In this role, you will join an interesting project that is looking to improve metadata quality and holding information by fully redesigning and replacing the existing end-of-life cataloguing function. To do this, you will: Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions. Develop and conceptualise a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy. What you'll need to succeed Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Strong understanding of usability and accessibility principles. The ability to conduct user research, analyse data and gain insight into user behaviour and preferences. Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer What you'll get in return Hybrid working arrangements, with a 4-day work week for the right candidate. Contract until EOFY, with extensions.
