About the Opportunity The team at Bearing and Engineering is looking for a proactive and energetic Salesperson to join their team. This is a fulltime role based in Richmond, Nelson. This role will involve travel around the Tasman region. As an outbound Salesperson you will be an integral part of their sales team responsible for account management and some new business development. Your responsibilities include: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand client needs and objectives, and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions to meet those needs. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic account plans to expand our customer base and achieve sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to client satisfaction and account growth. New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services. Proactively seek out and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Utilize market insights to adjust sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. Sales Reporting: Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team. What you will bring Proven experience as a Salesperson with ideally Auto or Engineering industry experience. Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and competitor activities.
