An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic and successful Technical Services team.  This role is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team environment and develop your career further.  Working a 9-day fortnight roster and reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will be responsible for: Design and Operational Effectiveness. Geotechnical Monitoring Plan. Mapping Monitoring & Pit Inspections. Strata characterisation. Reporting and Communication. Risk and Hazard Management. Maintenances of processes and procedures. To be successful in this role, you will have the following: A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Science/Earth Science or equivalent (Geology). Manual C Class driver’s license. Solid mine geology experience. Sound geological skills and knowledge of Coal geology. It will also be beneficial if you have:  Working experience with Vulcan together with proficient use of all MS Office software. Experience with geological and geotechnical data collection, validation, interpretation and QAQC. Good knowledge of the open pit mine and associated geotechnical monitoring.
