Your key responsibilities include: Ensure compliance is maintained to the Ground Control Management plan and QLD mining quarrying and Safety ACT. Training and mentoring of Geotechnical Engineers and providing ground awareness training to site personnel. Conduct and report Empirical and Numerical modelling of new mining blocks. Record and interrogate on monitoring instrumentation, report and develop action plans in conjunction with operations and planning engineers. The successful applicants will have: A tertiary degree or an equivalent qualification in Engineering or a Geoscience, with majors in Mining and or Geotechnical engineering. A minimum of 6 years’ experience in underground hard rock mining.
