As part of this growth, our multidisciplinary team providing supports to NDIS participants living in and around the Strathfield area would welcome a Occupational Therapist who enjoys Paediatrics & is looking to make a difference in their local community.

On a daily basis you will be:

  • Managing an allocated paediatric caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
  • Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
  • Recommending the provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independence
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
