CSA Mine is looking for a Backfill Engineer to join the team. You will work in a team that is focused on safety, while driving to meet the plan. You will work in one of the world’s most iconic mining districts, which has the second highest grade copper mine in the country.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the maintenance of the backfill technical manual in line with site and industry evolution
- Undertake monthly critical control verification of inrush risks associated with backfill systems
- Update and maintain the UG reticulation network diagrams as the network evolves
- Manage the paste pipe pressure profile and planned future extensions
- Organise and track reticulation network wear rates and replacement when required
- Management of site-specific reticulation consumables both critical spares and network extension
