Are you a cleaner extraordinaire and a great communicator with a passion for people and service?     

If you’re looking to be part of a friendly, close-knit, customer-centric team, we are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Utility - Mine Site Cleaner to join our team working Full Time driving in driving out to Nebo, South Walker Creek or Poitrel, Moranbah, working 9.5 hours per day on 14 days on 7 days  off roster.   

Who are we looking for?    

Your job will involve detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of kitchen and toilets. You are responsible for cleaning of crib rooms, mine site offices, walkways, toilet/ablution blocks, rubbish removal, refilling amenities, and daily mine site vehicle pre-start inspections and safety checks. You will conduct all duties using appropriate cleaning methods, following cleaning policies and procedures and be able to complete them with in allocate time frames. You will be required to respond in a timely manner to any adhoc cleaning request that require urgent attention. Time management will be key to this role as you will be allocated specific areas / duties to complete on your allocated shift. To be successful, you’ll need:   

  • Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights  
  • Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing  and police check  
  • Open manual driver's licence is required

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will take pride in your work, enjoy working in a cohesive team and thrive under pressure. You must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional communication skills. Be well presented at all times. You have bags of stamina and are fit and healthy, as you will spend most of your time on your feet.
