Project Co-Ordinator
Todae Solar is Australia-owned Commercial and Industrial Solar EPC. We have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra and a national network of fully accredited solar installers. We are seeking to employ 3 motivated and experienced Project Co-Ordinators to be part of our organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
Responsibilities:
• Manage 2 to 4 projects simultaneously
• Track project timelines and budgets precision, keeping everything on track and on budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct ad hoc site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ensure projects comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks to project success.
• Effectively communicate project status and updates to senior management.
• Develop and maintain project resourcing and operational plans. ensuring everyone involved knows their roles and deadlines.
• Review and prepare project finance reports and cashflow;
• Keep the leadership team informed about project status and addressing issues that may impact client relations.
• Ensuring projects are completed on-time, including being able to understand and successfully negotiate extension of time requests
as required;
• Assist in leading effective working relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors;
Qualifications
• Diploma in Management or a minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the solar industry.
Skills
• Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Computer literacy & proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite (essential), Monday.com, Xero etc
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Experiences
• Experience managing renewable projects such as Solar (PV)
• Experience managing staff members and contractors
• Experience successfully managing budgets and maintaining cost control
• Experience working within critical infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and as a complex understanding of the industry
• Good understanding of Project designs
