Strong growth means that the company is now looking to further strengthen the team by adding another Service Engineer to work with our team in Melbourne.
THE ROLE:
As a Service Engineer, you will report directly to the VIC Service Manager and be responsible for the following duties:
• Service and maintenance of Leica TPS, GPS & GNSS products and accessories:
• Service and maintenance of Leica Construction Lasers and measurements products: Digital Construction (iCON), Automatic & Laser Levels.
• Direct communication with customers regarding service, maintenance issues and technical inquiries.
• Self-training & learning of new equipment and procedures, including analysis of manufacturer's technical information.
• Provide mentoring, training and support to other service staff as required.
• Actively engage with management to promote growth and enhancement of service department procedures and revenue streams.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an alternative relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Engineering Industry including at least 1 year of technical experience in Leica TPS & GNSS-related products.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Desire to learn new technologies and skills., both via training and self-learning.
• Ability to work within a team or autonomously
