We, Secret Kitchen (Doncaster) Pty Ltd, operate a busy Chinese restaurant in Doncaster, Victoria. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Restaurant Manager to manage and direct the daily operation of our dining services. Your main duties as our Restaurant Manager include and not limited to:
· planning and organising daily operation for the dining area;
· planning and organising special functions/bookings (e.g., birthday party);
· food and beverage promotion;
· discussing with chef/cook regarding customer feedback on the food prepared;
· inventory check and arranging the purchasing of inventory;
· keeping updated records of sales and expenses;
· inspecting dining areas to ensure compliance with the health and safety requirements;
· making sure dining areas are always clean, functional and of suitable appearance;
· conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and services provided;
· selecting, employing, and dismissing junior dining staff;
· implementing staff roaster and assigning duties to dining staff;
· supervising dining staff and providing trainings to them;
· reviewing, implementing, and managing the guest reservation process;
· undertaking guests greeting duty in conjunction with subordinated dining staff;
· making recommendations to the management to improve dining services;
· reporting to the management of any issues/problems of the dining services.
Skills and experience:
· Must hold at least a Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification
· Must have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
· Ability to plan and manage busy dining services
· Must be able to work full-time and have full Australian work rights
Salary:
$70,000 to $80,000 a year plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
