We are seeking an exceptional international partnerships professional to lead the team responsible for the management of international partnerships, agreements and delegations and the University’s student global mobility program.

The Manager, International Partnerships is responsible for the management of the University's international institutional agreements, delegation visits, and student global mobility program in support of the University's strategic goals.

This role requires high level skills in the management of agreements and delegations that support strong University partnerships globally, including the management of risk relating to foreign influence and foreign interference and the effective use of a range of University systems. It oversees the preparation of high-level international briefings for senior executives to support strategic planning, policy and international visits.

The position is responsible for leading the University’s student mobility program to provide Griffith students with a diverse range of overseas study opportunity while managing risk, maximise the attraction of funding to support this, and administer the range of funding in accord with relevant policy. In addition, this position manages the administrative processes associated with the appointment and renewal of the University’s agent recruitment network.

The Manager, International Partnerships will work in collaboration with other senior managers in Griffith International (GI) and liaise with senior staff across the University to achieve outcomes consistent with goals and objectives of Griffith International.

You will also have:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification, with subsequent experience and/or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and training in the areas of international partnerships and/or student mobility programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong team management skills with the demonstrated ability to lead a collaborative team in a busy environment to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience in presenting to and liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, negotiating outcomes, and communicating in a concise and easily understood manner in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Extensive experience in preparing complex business documents such as submissions, proposals, policy documents and briefing papers, as well as the interpretation of complex policy, legislative/regulatory and compliance requirements relating to the higher education sector.
  • The ability to develop strong relationships and networks with a diverse range of stakeholders and develop and manage partnerships to meet the University’s strategic objectives.

What we can offer
This is a continuing, full-time position and will be primarily based onsite at either the Griffith University Gold Coast or Nathan campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 9 range $123,186 - $127,591 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $144,127 - $149,281 per annum.
