We have an immediate opportunity available for an experienced Records Coordinator to join our Clients team for a 6 month contract based in Rockingham, Western Australia.
Your focus will be on the provision of the following:
- Corporate Compliance - Maintain safe and compliant work practices in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, Risk Management, Procurement and Recordkeeping Frameworks and all other relevant policies and procedures
- Developing, delivering and driving records service strategies and change
- Coordinating and delivering records management specific training programs to all departments
- Formulation, monitoring and reviewing policies and procedures of the Records Services Team
- Ensure records are maintained in accordance with the approved Retention and Disposal Schedule
- Management and maintenance of the archive and inactive records contractual agreement and service provision
- Coordinating the attendance of the Records Services team at the opening of tenders
- Providing input into Team Plan and Annual Budget
- Leading and effectively managing the staff and resources of the section, to achieve a high level of service delivery
- Providing strategic and operational direction, support and technical expert advice to the team
- Promoting best practice and quality management programmes and activities within the team
- Delivery of outstanding service, establishing a reputation of customer service excellence throughout the organisation
What you will need to succeed:
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Developed planning and organisational skills
- High level interpersonal skills to allow effective communication to all levels of staff
- High level computer literacy skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of records management procedures
- Extensive experience in a Records or Information Management role including providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Extensive experience is Electronic Document Records Management Systems
- Experience in staff training and presenting information to a wide variety of audiences
- Experience using Microsoft suite of products
- Experience with Content Manager
- Experience with Authority — Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
