SafePak Workwear & Safety Pty Ltd, a leading supplier of workwear and safety products, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Warehouse Person. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff specializing in workwear and safety product handling.
- Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and ensure optimal performance from the team.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of workwear and safety product inventory.
- Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and order accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the workwear and safety product warehouse.
- Implement streamlined processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of all workwear and safety product shipments.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols and guidelines specific to the handling of workwear and safety products.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions and inspections to mitigate risks.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper utilization of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems relevant to workwear and safety product handling.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues promptly.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing warehouse teams in the workwear and safety industry.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, specifically in the handling of workwear and safety products.
- Proficient in implementing inventory control measures and maintaining accurate stock records for workwear and safety items
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements tailored to the workwear and safety product supply chain.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations specific to workwear and safety products and a commitment to creating a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders in the workwear and safety industry.
Education and Experience:
- HSC or equivalent; further education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior warehouse role.
