A Rapidly Growing Renewable Energy Company Is Looking for a Finance Manager to Lead the Whole Finance Function Your new company This is a brilliant opportunity to head up the full finance function for a rapidly growing renewable energy firm based in Sydney's CBD. With the continued and ongoing growth of the firm, this role has been created at a critical time, where an experienced Finance Manager is needed to solely run the financial operating for the Prime Renewables company who own 5 wind farms across the Melbourne region. Your new role This position will be stand-alone and will report to the senior investment members of Prime Renewables and be responsible for the full accounting processes and management of the business. It is important that you are well versed in financial control, reporting and have a clear confidence in performing to a high standard while working autonomously. Managing the accounting and finance department of the business Prepare accurate financial reports, including profit and loss (P&L), balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Manage the whole group budgeting processes Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy Working closely with the Executive Leadership team to deliver reports, analysis findings, potential risk areas and forecast opportunities Receive invoices from suppliers and upload them to the accounting system Compile metrics from invoices into P&L and cash flow statements Handle un-budgeted expenses such as ad hoc operational issues Create quarterly board reports Ensuring compliance with statutory law, finance, and tax regulations What you'll need to succeed Bachelors qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or Business Law Professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA Advanced computer software skills, particularly MYOB and Xero Experience in the energy sector would be highly beneficial Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Excellent organisation and administration skills Energetic and motivated personality Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines What you'll get in return Amazing location in the centre of the CBD Supportive team Hybrid working - 3 days at home, 2 in the office Fantastic career development opportunities What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
