Date Posted:2023-07-04Country: AustraliaLocation: LOC7005 : Unit 4, 10 Maryborough Street, Fyshwick ACT 2609, AustraliaOverviewElectrician working across our Construction business with small periods working in our Service Division when and as required.Key responsibilitiesInstallation of Lifts, Escalators and Modernization work as required to support the ACT/Southern NSW Region.Responsible for complying with company Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures including reporting any conditions which may impact on the environment or any employee.Maintain and work to the Quality System including procedures and manuals. Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes.Ensures work is performed in accordance with the following Company procedures.a) Erectors Manual b) Product Installation Manuals c) Procedures for Quality Assurance on site d) Relevant Technical Articles Field Operations Manual Australia and New Zealand. (Construction Section)Ensures work is performed in accordance with the relevant Codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735 and AS3000.Performs work in accordance with the relevant Award and / or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.Completes Time Sheets on a weekly basis.Make themselves available for Training, and aids in coordinating Training when required.Should be always aware of Human Resource Policies and be presenting a positive image of the Company.RequirementsElectrical and/or Fitter qualifications as relevant to the roleLift apprenticeship or other industry accredited training program (desirable)Minimum two (2) years’ to five (5) years experience in the Lift Industry (highly desirable).Extensive Electrical and Mechanical knowledge across a large range of equipmentDemonstrated fault finding and resolution skillsStrong English language skills, both verbal and writtenIntermediate knowledge and experience using technology including mobile communications and applications and other computer based systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet).Highly organised and structured, able to deal with multiple tasks and competing priorities.Attention to detail and results driven.Otis is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
