We are currently seeking an experienced, well-rounded person to join our team of mechanics. The main responsibilities of this role are to diagnose, adjust, service, maintain, inspect, repair or overhaul a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including trucks, trailers and farm equipment.
Successful applicants must:
- be a qualified experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with knowledge and experience with large diesel engines.
- have a current relevant truck license to operate trucks, and/or other relevant farm machinery, or be willing to undergo training to obtain one.
- have general knowledge of safe and legal operations of trucks and trailers.
- have excellent English communication skills
- have excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- be physically fit
It would be an advantage (but not essential) if the successful applicant was to have knowledge and experience with air conditioner units and auto electronics.
Full-time position (38 hours per week) plus overtime. Some weekend and public holiday work are available.
