Four Frogs are French restaurants in Sydney, proud of serving authentic “Crepes and Galettes” in a typical French atmosphere.
At Four Frogs, we care about offering the best experience: we believe details are particularly important and almost everything is homemade: we mill our own flour, we make most of our ingredients ourselves and all our preparations are cooked according to the French tradition, including sauces, syrups and much more).
The roles offered include the following duties:
• Full responsibility of the kitchen’s daily operations
• Creating menus and developing new innovative recipes based on traditional French recipes
• Ordering supplies and managing stocks in collaboration with the restaurant manager
• Dealing with suppliers (with an eye on costs)
• Implementing and monitoring HACCP procedures and Health & Safety processes
• Rostering
• Training staff in French Crepes making and retaining staff for all Four Frogs restaurants (crucial in this role).
About you:
- Advanced diploma in hospitality or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong previous experience: 3+ years for a Chef and 5 years + for a Head Chef
- Strong previous experience in a restaurant that serves “crepes” to be able to run the kitchen and train kitchen staff with the specific skills required in crepes making. The right person will need to have experience in a similar role and in a restaurant that serves the same type of specialities than Four Frogs.
- Good understanding of the financial constraints of a restaurant business
- Enjoy training staff and passing on knowledge.
Salary: $70K to $85K plus superannuation
