Key Responsibilities of the Project & Traffic Administrator role:
- Resourcing and management of on-site staff, including rostering and performance management
- Conduct project and traffic risk assessments, hazard identification and controls, and document control
- Analyse construction drawings and specifications to develop contracts, subcontracts and traffic management plans / traffic guidance schemes
- Maintain project Road Occupancy Licence approvals
- Manage subcontracts from tendering through to delivery, including management of budget and program
- Assist the Project Manager in drafting & assessing variations, claims and notices as required by the contract
- Communicate and liaise with stakeholders, including local government clients, Transport for NSW and other authorities
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-driven people who take pride in their work, a desire to learn all aspects of the business. You will be working closely with the Project Manager and Project Delivery Team. You will also participate in the continuous improvement of current company processes and business objectives.
We are looking for a candidate with the following key attributes:
- Previous Project and / or Traffic Administrator experience in the civil construction industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Take ownership and pride of their works
- Willingness to find opportunities to go above and beyond
- Excellent time management & attention to detail
- Experience with construction delivery software such as Microsoft Office 365 Suite (including Microsoft Project), Dashpivot, Invarion Rapid Plan and swept-path anaylsis programs are desirable
- Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence
Competitive remuneration package based on relevant experience (up to $90,000 p.a), including laptop and phone.
