Service Technician/Motor Mechanic

If you are a qualified mechanic with a sound knowledge of mechanical skills, some diagnostics problem solving and wants to take the next step, then we want to hear from you...

Key tasks and duties:
• Maintenance and repair of vehicles;
• Repairing mechanical components including (but not limited to) transmissions, engine assemblies and steering mechanisms and completing a thorough inspection of components;
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issue;
• Performing scheduled maintenance services;
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately;
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

Key Experience Required...
• Qualified Motor Mechanic / Technician with minimum four years of relevant experience;
• At least Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent skills and experience Motor Mechanic;
• Have outstanding attention to detail a natural aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repair;
• Reliable, strong work ethics and positive attitude;
• Have multi brand exposure in repairs and maintenance of vehicles;
• Mind-set focused with positive can-do attitude;
• Team focused and working for the overall success of the team;
• Self-motivated and love what they do;
• Good computer skills;

Successful Applicant:
• To be able to work and communicate together with our Workshop Foreman to increase efficiencies within the workshop;
• Flexible, approachable, and able to work within a team;
• Show initiative and good problem solving skills;
• Have a calm attitude with good listening skills;
• Current driver licence (Auto & Manual);
• Own tools
