The duties will include but not be limited to:
Develop innovative products each quarter based on market demand.
Daily baking of a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, and other products according to recipes.
Liaising with customers and demonstrating keen sensitivity to unique orders and customer food needs.
Making bread and pastry dough by using different techniques such as forming, loading, baking, unloading and cooling.
Preparing and cooking ingredients as required.
Mixing and baking ingredients according to recipes to produce breads, cakes, sweet treats, pastries, and other baked goods.
Train and manage kitchen staff
Finalising, glazing and decorating baked goods.
Ensuring products meet quality standards .
Operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits.
Adjusting drafts or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperature for baking products.
Inspecting baking equipment for cleanliness to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines on cleanliness and sanitation.
The successful candidate should have:
Relevant qualification
At least 4 years of relevant working experience
Extensive knowledge of the production and processing of goods and raw baking materials
Extensive knowledge in food production
Possess customer and personal service skills
Attention to detail
Stress tolerance
