About the Job

  • Undertake the administration and co-ordination of employee lifecycle processes, including but not limited to, new hires, terminations, staff movements, position and structure.
  • Support with the update of policies, procedures and documents under direction of the P&C Advisor Lead, Head of People Solutions & Services, and Head of Reward, Performance & Governance
  • Support with pre-boarding and on-boarding/offboarding
  • Update employee personal data changes in the relevant HR systems
  • Conduct disciplinary and grievance investigations and actions; and support other employee relations’ matters/advice as required (e.g. performance improvement plans; managing sick and injured employees) – at times this will include working with the People Partner
  • Support the broader business as we transition to a tiered service model. As part of this service model it’s envisaged this role will support Tier 0 and Tier 1 service queries (i.e. self service and first line support).
  • Advise on and contribute to the development and execution of health and safety policies, plans and practices in the workplace to establish a culture of health and safety.
  • Provide advice and guidance on health, safety and wellbeing matters and the interpretation of related Rest policies and procedures.
  • Provide first line wellbeing support to employees in need (together with appropriate support from Mental Health First Aid officers as appropriate).
  • Support various wellbeing activities.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and efficiency across all elements of P&C Advisory.
  • Manage the administration of workers’ compensation claims (e.g., lodgment, tracking and management of claims)
  • Provide support during the annual salary review process
  • Provide support to the People Solutions & Services team in the scheduling of activities and preparation of standard reports.
  • Coordinate report production and manage filing system for the team.
  • Support the broader People & Culture team, including Payroll, deliver BAU and project outcomes.
