Newhaul is seeking a versatile and multi-skilled IT professional to take on the newly established role of Senior Technology Officer – Data and Reporting. In this pivotal role, your input will be crucial in identifying opportunities for improvements and tailoring solutions to align with the evolving needs of our expanding business. The position calls for proficiency in data reporting and analysis, paired with a keen interest in a broad spectrum of technical skills to handle various IT projects, provide user support, and contribute to the implementation and management of our IT systems and services.

We are actively seeking candidates who prioritise continuous improvement and can seamlessly navigate through emerging technologies. We're in search of an individual aspiring to excel as an exceptional IT all-rounder, relishing the opportunity to become the subject matter expert (SME) across various systems and platforms. The ideal candidate should demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, a readiness to adapt to new technology and software, and, above all, the right attitude – a commitment to being a versatile and adaptable professional keen on growing alongside the evolving needs of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing KPIs, tools, and dashboards to enhance business processes, increase productivity, and ensure the consistency, reliability, scalability, and quality of standard reports.
  • Identifying data sources and gathering relevant data from various internal and external sources.
  • Cleaning, validating, and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and consistency, addressing any data quality issues.
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations within the data, offering insights that support decision-making processes from complex data.
  • Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems – reorganising data in a readable format.
  • Preparing reports for stakeholders, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritise and address business needs, ensuring that data insights contribute cohesively to the organisational strategy.
  • Acting as the primary ICT support contact for internal stakeholders, guiding them in the effective utilisation of our various systems and platforms.
  • Seamlessly adapt to new technologies and become the subject matter expert (SME) in various systems and platforms, ensuring a high level of proficiency and efficiency in their utilisation.
  • Display a continuous improvement focus by systematically identifying opportunities for enhancements and customising solutions to align with our business requirements, contributing to ongoing efficiency and effectiveness improvements.

The role is adaptable, and we're open to candidates with some, not all, of the desired skills and experience, what matters most is the right mindset and the drive to take charge and shape your own path.
