The Leukaemia Biology group at Children’s Cancer Institute undertakes highly translational research focused on the development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of high-risk and drug-resistant acute leukaemia in children and adults. This role will involve preclinical drug testing using mouse xenograft models of acute leukaemia, as well as laboratory-based cell and molecular biology experimentation as part of several grant funded positions. Your purpose will be to: Carry out preclinical drug testing using in vivo mouse models of acute Carry out laboratory-based cell and molecular biology Conduct research as a member of a team and are directly supervised by the Program Officer, Research Officer or Group Head. Assist with planning and coordination of research Collate, organise and present experimental Contribute to high quality Contribute to laboratory To succeed you will have… Scientific degree with Honours or equivalent degree in related area. Solid knowledge and experience working within a PC2 laboratory environment. Ability to interpret and communicate results to the supervisor and research group.
