Developer - Intelligent Document Processing

As part of MMS's commitment to Making Matters Simple for our customers we are constantly looking at opportunities to implement process improvement through automation where possible. As such, a new role has been created within our business for a Developer - Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).The Developer - IDP is responsible for developing, delivering and supporting automated IDP processes that drive the desired benefits for the business, our staff and our customers.The Developer - IDP will engage with relevant business stakeholders and teams where automation opportunities exist, to scope and document existing processes, design and build automated processes utilising the ABBYY (or equivalent) software platform.This role is also responsible for supporting existing automated IDP processes to implement enhancements, as well as assist with identifying and resolving issues with automated IDP processes in a timely manner.  Key Responsibilities:Process Identification, Design & BuildIdentify new process opportunities that are aligned with the broader MMS business and IT strategies and accurately analyse and estimate their feasibility for IDP automation.Working with the Process Owner and Subject Matter Experts, analyse and document the relevant business processes for automation.Design ABBYY (or equivalent software) process automation solutions in accordance with the software’s standard design principles and best practice guidelines.Configure and test new ABBYY (or equivalent software) process automations using an efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand approach.Production SupportSupport existing IDP automations and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process.Problem solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of IDP automations and provide timely responses and solutions as required.Assist the Automation Lead with optimisation of IDP solution licencing utilisation.Communicate any identified process risks and issues to the Automation Lead and provide inputs to the change control process.Liaise with the Automation Lead, Service Desk or Infrastructure team, where escalation is required in regards to any identified issues with IDP software/infrastructure.To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following certificates:ABBYY Vantage Certified DeveloperABBYY Vantage Certified Business AnalystABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Certified SpecialistABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Certified Solution ArchitectABBYY FlexiCapture 12 for Invoices Certified Solution ArchitectAnd possess the following attributes:Willingness and ability to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of IDP automations in the ABBYY (or equivalent software) product.The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery.Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.What we can offer you:Our strong people-first cultureFlexible/hybrid working to enhance your work/life balanceNovated lease benefits and discounts12 weeks Paid Parental leave and access to our Parents PortalExempt Employee Share PlanPaid Income Protection Insurance under MMSG default Super planAccess to a broad range…
