It’s when. As our Junior Bioinformatics Engineer you should be fluent in at least two programming languages such as Python, R or SQL and have experience in any Unix platform. If you join us, you will receive training in workflow languages such as CWL and Nextflow. You will also gain skills in different cloud and HPC platforms, as well as application containerization. This position is suitable for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience, preferably with a basic background in biology. As our Junior Bioinformatics Engineer in our Computational Biology team your purpose will be to: Maintaining production multi-omics analysis, supporting pipeline maintenance and upgrades, and ensuring seamless data integration from clinical databases. Identify opportunities for pipeline improvements and upgrades to enhance data processing efficiency and accuracy. Perform thorough data quality checks at various stages of the processes to identify and rectify any discrepancies, inaccuracies, or data integrity issues Working with the Computational Biology team to deliver pipeline solutions.
